The The Asian Silicon Symposium (ASiS) takes place in Asia biennially and has been hosted in turn by the silicon research communities of Japan, Korea, and China. Previous ASiS meetings were successfully held at Tsukuba (Japan) in 2012 (ASiS-4), Jeju (Korea) in 2015, Shandong (China) in 2017.

ASiS is open to the world’s silicon community. With the scientific program covering all advancement in silicon chemistry, the symposium provides an engaging platform to bring together leading researchers, scientists and students in the field of silicon chemistry to present their perspective in research, exchange their scientific findings, cultivate mutual understanding, and foster possible collaborations.

We would like to welcome you to the 7th Asian Silicon Symposium (ASiS-7) which will be held in Singapore at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University from July 28th to July 31st, 2019. We look forward to your participation and hope that the exchange of ideas and formation of relationships here will ensure an innovative future for silicon chemistry and the scientists involved.
