AIDA-AT 2020 Call For Papers

The 1st conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics in Air Transportation (AIDA-AT 2020) will provide an excellent interdisciplinary forum for researchers to present and discuss latest advances in research work and applications of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics in the field of Air Transportation.

The aim of the conference is to bring together world leading experts in Artificial Intelligence and Air Transportation on one platform to promote a fruitful research on well-described Air Transportation problems, using and developing techniques from Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, such as Machine Learning, Evolutionary Computation, Constraint Programming, Graph-based methods, Data-driven methods, Data Analytics, etc. Participation is invited on all topics relevant to these research themes, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence techniques and applications in Air Transportation
  • Knowledge Management of Air Transportation data
  • Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery in Air Transportation
  • Machine Learning-based systems in Air Transportation
  • Neural Networks in Air Transportation
  • Constraint Programming for Air Transportation
  • Graph and tree-search methods in Air Transportation
  • Agent Oriented Techniques in Air Transportation
  • Meta-heuristics in Air Transportation
  • Swarm Intelligence for Air Transportation
  • Evolutionary Computation in Air Transportation
  • Data-driven models and methods for Air Transportation
  • Automated processing of Air Transportation operational tasks
  • Operational and policy issues arising from automation of Air Transportation Systems
  • Evaluation studies of AI and Data Science approaches in Air Transportation
  • Explainable, responsible and trustworthy AI and normative mechanisms that enable socially responsible AI-applications

As researchers in these fields are not necessarily familiar with Air Transportation domain, paper submissions should provide a clear description of the problem being addressed and offer access to the problem data in a format that is easy to understand for non-specialists in ATM. The models and algorithms should be detailed and the results should be reproducible. When possible, an open access to the code that was used to obtain the results would be highly appreciated.

AIDA-AT 2020 is technically sponsored by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS). All submissions will be peer-reviewed, by at-least three reviewers, from the program committeeAll accepted papers and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed by IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Scopus.
