About School of Civil and Environmental Engineering

​The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) boasts comprehensive state-of-the-art facilities and a faculty comprising more than 60 professors. Faculty members are drawn from renowned universities worldwide, providing a wealth of collective expertise in civil and environmental engineering.

The primary functions of the School of CEE are to train and educate professional civil and environmental engineers, and to advance the state of knowledge in important civil and environmental engineering fields. State-of-the-art facilities in both hardware and software are incorporated regularly to provide a professionally-oriented education and a technologically-stimulating environment for research and development and collaborations with the industry and overseas universities.

The School of CEE owns six laboratories that are well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support teaching and research. They are:​

Ø  Central Environmental Science and Engineering Laboratory

Ø  Environment Laboratory

Ø  Geotechnics, Transport & Geospatial Laboratory

Ø  Hydraulics Laboratory

Ø  ITSC Laboratory

Ø ​ Protective Engineering and Construction Technology Laboratory
