Unleash your skills at SPIRITCYBER-24 Hackathon, organised by the Centre for Smart Platform Research on Integrative Technology at Nanyang Technological University, and sponsored by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore

Get ready to unleash your creativity and coding skills. Join us for an exciting journey into the world of cybersecurity and hackers at our international bug bounty contest. This is your chance to showcase your skills, uncover vulnerabilities, and contribute to making the digital world safer. We hope that this event, featuring participants from around the globe, will demonstrate the strength of collective intelligence in addressing cyber threats.

SPIRITCYBER-24 is our series of hackathons focusing on IoT and OT. This year theme is "Cybersecure Urban Living", featuring three exciting categories of challenges. Please note, this contest is by invitation only, so we encourage you to register your interest early here. Each team may have a maximum of three members.

The Hackathon will be divided into two rounds:

ELIMINATION Round

This round will last 30 days from August to September 2024. During this stage, invited teams around the world will be given remote access to our Smart Nation IoT testbed.

FINAL Round

Top teams from the Elimination Round will be invited to a 3-day in-person final round in Singapore, during Singapore International Cyber Week.

During the finals, contestants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their cyber exploits on actual Smart Nation devices, vying for a total prize pool of S$65,000.

Our setup aims to mimic different categories of smart cities deployments today with a mix of IoT and OT devices. There will be three categories of IoT/OT themed bug bounty challenges i.e. Smart Lamp Post, Autonomous Robot, and Smart Home. Each with its unique set of "targets" that can be attacked by our contestants.
