This introductory course on X-ray Diffraction (XRD) will cover the fundamentals of crystallography, the principles of X-ray interaction with materials, and practical guidance for performing XRD experiments. The course will also provide tips for successful measurements, introduce basic data analysis, and showcase diverse research applications of XRD.
The session will be presented by Dr. Tseng Jochi, who currently conducts user training on X-ray instruments at FACTS. Her research focuses on developing advanced X-ray techniques for operando diffraction and scattering experiments.
