The IAS Frontiers in Genome Engineering Conference is the sixth meeting in a series that started with Seoul as the first host city/state in 2017, followed by Beijing in 2018, Kobe in 2019, Seoul again in 2022, and Goa in 2023. The 2024 conference in Singapore will be held from 13 to 15 November on the beautiful campus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Celebrating the revolutionary CRISPR-Cas system, this conference explores its transformative impact on biotechnology and biomedical science, from its roots in microbial immunity to its 2020 Nobel Prize-winning applications in genome editing. As we venture beyond CRISPR, the conference also highlights emerging genome engineering technologies, offering a platform for cutting-edge research, novel tools, and collaborative innovation.

Set in the vibrant research landscape of Singapore, this event aims to foster global and regional dialogue in genome engineering, drawing together a diverse audience of academic researchers, industry experts, and government policymakers.
