Before Arrival to NTU

Congratulations! You are one of many who have been granted the ICRAT 2024 Travel Sponsorship. To prepare your onboarding and administrative matters smoothly, we will spell out the action lists you must complete before you arrive at NTU Singapore.

Step 1. Registration of Accommodation at NTU Halls

Step 2. For Visa Application

If you required Letter of Invitation to support your visa application, please drop us an email

Step 3. Sponsorship Coverage & Reimbursement Process

The ICRAT 2024 Travel Sponsorship Grant covers the following:

  • Accommodation at NTU Halls (30th June 2024,Sun to 4th July 2024, Thu,12noon)
  • Conference registration - waived
  • Reimbursement of Return Economy Flight - capped at SGD 500, USD 500 & EUROS 500
    (depending on which region and sponsorship you obtained from)

Reimbursement Process, please email your claim enquiries/supporting documents to 

  • For students from USA Universities, email to Dr Neiderman (eric.neiderman@faa.gov)
  • For students from European Universities, email to Dr Marc Bourgois (marc.bourgois@eurocontrol.int)
  • For students from APAC Universities, email to Ms Noorhayati (noorhayati@ntu.edu.sg)

Documents needed to submit to reimburse the flight fare to the respective organisations:

  • Letter of Invitation from NTU Singapore (will be emailed to the sponsored students)
  • Email approval granting the sponsorhip from FAA / EUROCONTROL / NTU
  • Soft copy of your flight ticket & receipt

Arriving from Singapore Changi Airport to NTU Singapore (ATMRI)

The NTU Hall / Dorm key collection point is at Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI). Please email your expected arrival date/time to  conference secretariat at noorhayati@ntu.edu.sg

By Public Transport (SMRT Train) - total duration is 1hr09min

  • From CG Purple Line, Changi Airport MRT Station > transfer at Tanah Merah MRT station > Board the EW Green Line to Pioneer MRT station
  • Alight at Pioneer MRT Station > turn left from the control station at Exit A > take SBS bus no 179 to Lee Wee Nam Library stop (estimated duration of 10mins)
  • Alight from the bus, turn left and 2mins walk along the sheltered walkway until you see Open Carpark E on your right side
  • Walk to the Open Carpark E, and ATMRI main entrance is on your left side. The Arc (conference venue) is your right side.

By Taxi/Cab

  • Inform the driver the address 65 Nanyang Drive, Singapore 637460, Block N3.2, NTU University (Carpark E)
  • ATMRI will on the left-side of the open carpark and The ARC (conference venue) is on the right-side of the open carpark.

By Ride Hailing Services (Grab, GoJek, Zig)

  • Enter the address 65 Nanyang Drive, Singapore 637460 (Carpark E)
  • ATMRI will be on the left-side of the open carpark and The ARC (conference venue) is on the right-side of the open carpark.

During Your Stay in NTU Campus

Three Shuttle Bus Routes serve the campus.

  • Campus Loop - Blue (CL-B) & Campus Loop - Red (CL-R) circle the campus.
  • Campus Rider (CR) ventures off-campus to and from Pioneer MRT station. On weekends and holidays, Campus Rider becomes Campus Weekend Rider (CWR) with an extended route.
