Intellectual property plays a critical role in transforming research into commercially viable ventures, yet early IP decisions can have lasting implications for funding, valuation, ownership, and commercial partnerships.

This event will examine practical IP considerations across the technology commercialisation journey, including patent and trade secret strategy, product and market alignment, jurisdictional considerations, investor due diligence, and ownership issues. The second half of the programme will feature a fireside discussion with Mr Koh Boon Hwee, Chairman of Altara Ventures, on the journey from inventions to ventures and perspectives on building successful ventures around innovation.

This session is co-hosted with Drew & Napier LLC.
