As a university deeply rooted in science and technology, NTU generates an annual research income of nearly S$800 million. Each year, we file around 500 technology disclosures and license more than 100 technologies for commercial adoption. Over the past decade, we have created over 400 spin-offs and startups, including more than 120 deep tech startups, collectively valued at over S$1.3B based on their latest funding rounds. These achievements are a strong foundation for our next ambition - to become a deep tech innovation hub. In this talk, we will explore the best practices of top entrepreneurial universities and outline a unique model to transform NTU into a hub for disruptive innovations that drive economic growth and benefit society.
