Abstract

In this talk, Dr Allard will present the editorial process at Nature Reviews and Nature Research journals, highlighting the importance of scientific journals and providing an overview of the Nature portfolio and the relationships between its titles. She will guide you through each step from submission to publication, including how to prepare your manuscript and navigate the peer review process. Additionally, she will share writing tips and offer insights into editorial careers.

Biography

Dr Charlotte Allard joined Nature Reviews Materials in 2022, where she handles a broad range of topics including wearable electronics and bioelectronics, materials for drug delivery, photovoltaics, biomaterials and materials for robotics. Prior to her editorial career, she completed a PhD in engineering physics at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, where she studied the encapsulation of organic molecules in confined 1D spaces.
