We are excited to invite tenure-track and tenured faculty members and mid- and advanced-stage PhD students from all around the world to apply to the NTU Academy of AI for Business and Social Science Research, which will take place from 21 to 23 November 2026 at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
This three-day academy provides a comprehensive curriculum that equips participants with cutting-edge AI tools, computational methods, and practical research skills for business and social science research. The curriculum will foster a close integration of artificial intelligence, data science, computing, and domain expertise. It aims to advance research across a broad range of disciplines, including economics, finance, accounting, management, marketing, information systems, operations, public policy and other social sciences.

Programme Components & Target Audience
- Methods lectures: Designed for early-career researchers, faculty members, and advanced PhD students across business and social science disciplines, including economics, finance, accounting, management, marketing, information systems, operations, public policy, and related fields. The lectures will provide rigorous training in state-of-the-art AI, machine learning, computational methods, and data analytics, with an emphasis on integrating domain knowledge with AI to address important research questions in business and the social sciences.
- Lightning round presentations: An optional short-form presentation opportunity where participants introduce their research projects, particularly early-stage ideas, and receive constructive feedback from faculty, invited speakers, and fellow participants. The session aims to foster interdisciplinary discussion, collaboration, and the development of innovative AI-enabled research agendas.
- Poster sessions: PhD student participants are invited to prepare and present posters showcasing their ongoing research. The poster sessions provide a platform for scholarly exchange, networking, and feedback from leading researchers across a broad range of business and social science disciplines, particularly on projects that leverage AI, machine learning, computational methods, or novel data sources.
