    Dr Vasiliki Kioupi is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Curriculum and a member of the Sustainable Curriculum leadership team at the University of Leeds. She holds a doctoral degree in Education for Sustainable Development from the Centre for Environmental Policy of Imperial College London, for which she received a prestigious President’s PhD Scholarship. Her research investigates sustainability transitions in Higher Education and the role of sustainability competencies in empowering young people to act for the climate and sustainability. She is also a Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence Fellow and was the academic lead of the Social Justice Jam, an intensive, online, and international education programme on social justice and sustainability. She has published her research in journals, books, and conference proceedings in the fields of sustainability, education, and environmental policy.

    Dr Keeran Ward is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Leeds. His research focuses on sustainable process design, life‑cycle sustainability assessment, and optimisation of supply chains for low‑carbon and circular manufacturing. He leads the Sustainable Process Systems Group at the University of Leeds and works extensively across chemical, bio-based and materials innovation. Dr Ward has secured major funding as PI and co‑I, from Innovate UK, EPSRC, and BBSRC, applying systems engineering tools to develop scalable sustainable technologies. His work spans academic, industrial, and governmental collaborations, including partnerships with Proman, Johnson Matthey, Unilever, and international research institutes. Prior to joining Leeds, he was a Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, where he won the national Research and Development Proof of Concept Prize for pioneering resource‑circular bioproducts from invasive Sargassum biomass. He is also a Chartered Engineer and Member of IChemE and contributes to the wider community through invited talks, scientific outreach, and reviewer roles in process systems engineering.

    Dr Rosario Michel-Villarreal is a Lecturer in Sustainability and Business at the Sustainability Research Institute, University of Leeds, and Programme Leader for the MSc Sustainability and Business. She co-leads the Sustainable Curriculum principle within the University of Leeds’ Climate Plan. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on sustainability transitions, particularly sustainable operations and supply chains, sustainable food systems, and sustainability in higher education. She is especially interested in how organisations and communities can drive systemic change through policy, innovation, and collaboration. Dr Michel-Villarreal is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Responsible Production and Consumption.

    Dr Manoj Ravi is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at University of Leeds. He is also the programme lead for the BEng & MEng Chemical Engineering programmes. He led the interdisciplinary BAIBEL (Building AI-Based Education Languages) project at the University exploring a multistakeholder view on the competent and ethical use of AI in higher education. He is also a member of the University’s Sustainable Curriculum project team helping educators embed sustainability in the curriculum.
