Student Sponsorship

AICAP 2027 offers sponsorship opportunities for eligible students participating in the conference.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for sponsorship, applicants must meet all four of the following criteria:

  1. First Author: Be the first author of a paper submitted and accepted for presentation at AICAP 2027.
  2. Paper Presenter: Be the designated presenter of the accepted paper at the conference.
  3. Student Status: Be a full-time registered student at a recognised educational institution.
  4. Supervisor's Supporting Letter: Provide a letter of support from their academic supervisor.

Important Note: Meeting all eligibility criteria does not guarantee sponsorship. Successful applicants will be selected by the AICAP 2027 Executive Committee.

Sponsorship Coverage

Students selected for sponsorship will receive the following support:

  • Conference Registration: Full coverage of conference registration fees.
  • Airfare: Coverage of airfare expenses up to a maximum of SGD 500.

  • Accommodation: Coverage of up to two nights at the Nanyang Executive Centre (NEC), capped at SGD 500. Accommodation at other venues will not be covered.

Application Process

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to apply for student sponsorship should submit all required supporting documents by email to AICAP-2027@ntu.edu.sg, copying Dr. Imen Dhief, AICAP 2027 Communications Chair, at imen.dhief@ntu.edu.sg.

Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted within one week of receiving the paper acceptance notification.

Reimbursement Process

For any reimbursement-related enquiries or submission of supporting documents, please email AICAP-2027@ntu.edu.sg, copying Dr. Imen Dhief, AICAP 2027 Communications Chair, at imen.dhief@ntu.edu.sg.

Documents needed to submit to reimburse the accomodation:

  • NEC accomodation receipt.

Documents needed to submit to reimburse the flight fare:

  • Letter of Invitation from NTU Singapore (will be emailed to the sponsored students).
  • Email approval granting the sponsorhip from NTU.
  • Soft copy of your flight ticket & receipt.
